Supplies Needed
- Construction paper
- Crayons or colored pencils
- Scissors
Instructions
- Cut a strip of paper and a circle that is bigger than the strip of paper.
- You can keep the circle round like a smiley face or you can cut it into a shape.
- In the example video it is cut into the shape of a cats head.
- Fold the circle (or cat's head or whatever shape you chose) in half and make two parallel cuts that are long enough for your strip of paper to slide through.
- On the strip of paper, draw different expressions or "faces."
- Insert the strip of paper through the slits you just cut.
- When you slide the strip of paper from left to right through your circle, the faces will appear on your circle.
The faces will change - what fun!
