Katniss Everdeen takes the place of her younger sister in the games. She must use all her skills, cunning, and bravery to try and survive.
Review
This was a great an entertaining movie. It is rated PG-13. We don't often review or have PG-13 movies on our site, but as the Hunger Games is such a popular kids book, we've made an exception. Kids will absolutely need their parent's approval and guidence for this movie. It is fairly violent. That being said, the movie was well made, acted, and filmed. I'm not sure if it wouldn't be confusing for people who haven't read the book, however. I also think they could have done more with effects. For this reason I give it 4 out of 5 Ducks.
