The movie is a stop-motion 3D animated film from director Tim Burton. Like Alice in Wonderland it is a Walt Disney Pictures movie. Actors include newcomer Charlie Tahan and Burton regular Winona Ryder. The movie is based on Burton's animated short film from 1984 with the same name. The plot is based on the story of Frankenstein. It is filmed in black and white.
In the story a young boy loses his dog named Sparky. He is so sad that he uses the power of science to bring him back to life. Things go wrong when the dog gets out and the rest of the town find out.
